Samsung release the successor to the original credit card mobile phone
Tuesday, September 19, 2006
Samsung will soon be releasing the SGH-P310 also being called ‘the card phone II’, the upgrade to the Samsung P300 credit card mobile phone. It looks much more stylish than the original P300, often criticized for looking like a calculator, and has changed the style of the keypad which makes the handset look much more like a mobile phone.
It is almost the same size and weight as the original P300 but boasts a 2 mega pixel camera with flash, micro SD expandable memory, MP3 player, Bluetooth, TV output, and EDGE compatability. For such a small phone it certainly packs in a lot of features!
It weighs in at 75 grams and measures 86 x 54 x 8.5 mm, there is an additional battery in the external case which takes the weight up to 140 grams. A down fall of the P300 was the battery life, which has been improved on the P310.
The Samsung P310 should be available in Europe this month. Keep an eye on our Samsung P310 mobile phone section for upcoming release news and the best deals as they become available.
