A quick round up of what Samsung have planned for the future stretching into 2007

So what’s in store for Samsung after the release of the popular Samsung D900 and Samsung E900? Well first on the list is colour variations in true Motorola style. The have a Samsung D900 Red hitting the market now which will be followed up by a Samsung E900 Pink that they have high hopes for.

On top of this they are also getting ready to release the Samsung X830 in November. We have written about this small music phone before, however we recently got a chance to see it in action and it is pretty impressive as you can see by the pictures below. In addition to the black colour scheme it is due to be issued in a white colour scheme which gives it an eerily similar look to an iPod shuffle possibly making it a huge seller for Samsung.

After the success of the ultra campaign which featured Samsung’s family of slim phones (the Samsung D900, Samsung X820 and Samsung D830) which cost £7.2 million they are following up with another equally impressive price tag of £2 million for the X830’s advertising campaign.

Looking a bit further into the future and seeing what it holds for Samsung in 2007 we’ve been promised 4 megapixel camera phones, Samsung accessories (which should finally bring to market a Samsung car kit) and they will push the boundaries of thin phones even further to 5mm, clearly not phased by Motorola’s leaked video of a 6.9mm thin Samsung X820 being snapped in half.
