Some more information on Three’s new mobile phone service the X-Series

Onecompare told you on the 17th November about Three’s new X Series mobile phone service and since then new information has come to light.

The X Series will be released on the 1st December and will offer Symbian powered mobile phones such as the Nokia N73 and the Sony Ericsson W950i free Skype internet calls to Skype PC users and other Skype mobile phone users, internet access, free instant MSN or Yahoo messenger via Skype, access to your PC’s media files via Orb networks and access to your home TV channels and recordings via Slingbox.

Although the price for the X Series tariff is yet to be released there are rumours that it will be priced between £10 and £15.  If this turns out to be true the X Series will be fierce competition for T-Mobile’s Web n Walk unlimited mobile internet access (priced at £7.50 per month) with all of the extra features that X Series offers.

Again we will wait and see what actually happens when the price is officially announced when the scheme is released on the 1st December 2006.
