Nokia have announced 4 new mobile phones this week, the Nokia 6300, 6290, 6086, and the 2626.

The Nokia 6300 is a standard block mobile phone which is 11.7mm thick which makes it one of Nokia’s thinnest mobile phones.  It is a tri-band mobile with features including a 2 mega pixel camera, FM radio, Bluetooth, and microSD memory card slot.

The 6290 is a quadband 3G smart phone. It is a clamshell phone with a display screen on the front fascia, based on the Symbian 9.1 OS, and features EDGE, Bluetooth, GPRS, infrared port and USB. It boasts 50MB of internal memory which can be expanded with a microSD memory card. Other features include a 2 mega pixel camera, FM radio, video camera and video calling.

Once again the 6086 is a clamshell, quad-band mobile phone. It has a smaller screen on the front fascia which is monochrome unlike the 6290’s 256K colour TFT display. The camera is VGA unlike the 6290’s mega pixel camera. It has an FM radio, EDGE, GPRS, and expandable memory through microSD card slot. It is also the third UMA (unlicensed mobile access) enabled Nokia mobile phone to be released.

The Nokia 2626 is unlike the other handsets. It is a basic budget mobile phone with no Bluetooth or camera although it does have an FM radio. It is a standard block phone and will be available in white navy, fiery red, energetic copper and spatial blue colour schemes.
