ROKR E6
Motorola have announced the new ROKR E6, which only similarity to the original ROKR and ROKR E2 handsets is the ROKR name. Motorola have chosen a brand new style for the third ROKR mobile phone in their collection. Unlike the original ROKR the E6 will not feature iTunes.
The E6 is a PDA style device, with a RAZR like design. It is just 14mm thick which makes it a lot slimmer than other mobile phones of this type already on the market. It has a 2.4” touch sensitive screen, memory expansion using SD cards and can take up to 2Gb of memory. It also features a 2 mega pixel digital camera, FM radio, PDA, web browser, email client, Microsoft office viewer, PIM (personal information management), multimedia support (MP3, MPEG4, AAC, WMA, RealMedia, WMR, WAV) and stereo Bluetooth.
Media can be transferred to the phone via memory card reader or a USB 2.0 cable. Audio can be listened to through 3.5mm socket connection or on stereo Bluetooth headphones.
It has currently only been announced for the Chinese market, but we feel that it would be a popular handset in Europe too boasting a stylish design and numerous features.
