3G phones haven't been the prettiest handsets so far due to the extra technology that needs to be squeezed in to handle all the extra functions that 3G is capable of, but this is all changing. The Sony Ericsson K608i was one of the first handsets to blend style with features in a handset not much bigger than it's 2G counterparts, and this is set to continue with the release of some great new handsets in the coming few months. This week we will be featuring some of the most promising newcomers - starting with the LG U880.
Expected to be released on the 3 network in December, the LG U880 is the world’s slimmest 3G flip phone measuring in at just 18.22mm in depth. It comes with 75 MB of memory and has a micro SD card slot. The LG U880 also has a 1.3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, MP3 playback and dual stereo speakers.
