Samsung have announced the release of one of their Ultra Edition II handsets, the SGH - U600.

It’s a stylish, shiny, slim slider phone.  It will be available in four different colour schemes sapphire blue, garnet red, copper gold and platinum metal.  It has the glossy effect finish seen on several mobile phones recently released such as the LG Shine, and the Motorola KRZR.

The SGH - U600 has a 3.2 mega pixel camera, multimedia player supporting MP3, AAC and WMA formats, 60MB of internal memory and microSD expandable memory, web browser and email client with added messaging enhancements. It supports quad band GSM, GPRS and EDGE and it measures in at 103.2 x 49.3 x 10.9 mm.

The Samsung U600 has a 2.2” 240 x 320 pixel display, along with its glass like fascia this makes for a fashionable looking mobile phone. The directional pad and the information button are the main navigational devices which are accessed when the phone is closed, with the main keypad coming into play when the phone is slid open.

The SGH - U600 will be available in the first quarter of 2007, so we will hopefully be seeing it make an appearance on Onecompare in the next few weeks.
