T-Mobile announce the UK release of the MDA Mail, available today. Also known as the HTC Excalibur (S620) it has previously been available in the USA as the T-mobile Dash, and renamed to the T-Mobile MDA Mail for release in Europe.
MDA Mail is an affordable all round communication device from T-Mobile. Allowing access to emails via Microsoft Direct Push and Blackberry connect, and use of the open internet through Web’n’walk.
Weighing just 130g and 13mm thick, although bigger and heavier than the average handset it is significantly smaller than most PDAs on the market, the MDA Mail is a slim option for PDA owners, combining practical business features with sleek design.
With features such as a 2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, QWERTY keyboard, Windows Mobile 5.0, Windows Media Player, SDIO, microSD and TransFlash expandable memory it competes with the MDA Vario II and the MDA Compact III. It is, however, without Wifi and 3G capabilities, which has contributed to the lower price tag.
