Carphone Warehouse promote the Nokia 6300 as one of their handsets of the moment.
Thursday, March 22, 2007
The Nokia 6300 is being promoted by Carphone Warehouse as one of its handsets of the moment and Nokia have generously spent on a billboard advertising campaign to promote their new classic mobile phone. It has proved to be extremely popular already with many stores selling out of their stock thick and fast.
The 6300 doesn’t offer any new features; once again classic simplicity seems to be the key to its success.
We wrote recently of the current trend in ‘easy to use’ mobile phones, and Nokia are now expanding their range in the form of the 6300, an easy to use mobile phone aimed at business people. Due to its target audience, it isn’t quite as basic as the previously released 1112, 2310, 2610 and the 2626. It has the added benefit of a 2MP camera, Bluetooth, FM radio, Micro SD card and push email, but its simple design and amazingly crisp clear screen make the 6300 very appealing to companies who want to kit out their work force with a sensible, easy to work with mobile phone. On a personal note it would also be an excellent upgrade from any of the basic Nokia handsets, giving users an easy to use mobile phone, clear display screen and an introduction in to extra features.
The elegant classic design makes it stand out from the crowd as most of the mobile phone market is crammed with multimedia and fashion mobile phones which simply don’t appeal to everyone out there. The handset measures 106.4 x 43.6 x 11.7 mm and is robust despite being a slim design. It has a standby time of 348 hours and a talk time of 3 hours 30 minutes and is available in silver or black colour schemes.
The Nokia 6300 is currently available through Onecompare.com with 12 months free line rental* equivalent after cashback, to see all the deals available click here.
