Toshiba have moved from Laptops to the smartphone market with 2 feature packed portégé phones.
The G500 is a slider phone smaller than the Samsung D900, although much heavier. It boasts 3G, Windows Mobile 5.0, EDGE, HSDPA, VoIP capability and Wi-fi, as well as a unique fingerprint sensor! The fingerprint scanner has previously been seen on Toshiba Laptops as a security feature, using your fingerprint as authentication on start up.

Due out at the end of April for around £300 this is a good looking phone with great features.
The G900 portégé is similar smartphone, with all the features of the G500 plus the added benefits of a touch screen, slide out QWERTY keyboard and Windows Mobile 6.
Again this is a good looking, quality phone, with PDA features for those who like up-to-date technology. As yet we have no word on a release date or selling price on the G900.
