Nokia have announced the 6120 Classic. It may be a plain and bland looking mobile phone but there is a lot more to the 6120 than meets the eye.
Friday, April 27, 2007
The Nokia 6120 Classic boasts a 2 mega pixel camera with flash plus a secondary QVGA camera for video calling as well as bluetooth, microSD expandable memory up to 2GB, multimedia player, miniUSB jack and an FM radio. As well as all this it is also a Symbian S60 smartphone using Symbian OS 9.2. Its HSDPA support allows download speeds of up to 3Mbps.
The Nokia 6120 Classic measures 105 x 46 x 15 mm and weighs only 89 grams. This makes it one of the lightest Nokia GSM smartphone currently available. It is a dual-band HSDPA/UMTS (850/2100 MHz) phone with quad-band GSM and GPRS and EDGE data. The Classic also features a modestly sized 2” 240 x 320 pixel display in 16 million colours.
The main selling features of the 6120 Classic is its light weight and its reasonable price. It weighs in 27g lighter than the N73, 10 grams lighter than the 6230i and is only 9g heavier than the basic 1110! It is also expected to be priced at around £160, which is pretty good value for money for a mobile phone with so many features.
Expect to see the Nokia 6120 Classic on the shelves at the end of the second quarter of 2007. Take a look at the entire range of Nokia phones in our Nokia mobile phone info section.
