Samsung announce the E950 and F210

A touch sensitive slider and a music centred mobile.

Samsung have announced the upgrade to the E900, which has more in common with the D900 and U600. The E950 is controlled by a touch sensitive front panel and is styled very similar to the popular U600. It has a 3 megapixel camera and 80MB of internal memory (although some review sites say this is only 70MB) which can be expanded by a microSD card.

The E950 is a good mixture of the features of two Samsung models (E900 and U600) and should prove very popular when it is released later this year.

The F210 is a revamped and upgrade of the X830, the slim rotating phone. With the same sleek styling and wheel control on the front this should prove a popular phone, Samsung have made it a much better option than the X830 with just a few tweaks.

The camera has gone from a 1.3 to 2 megapixel, which OneCompare.com now see as being the minimum resolution for a newly released phone. Also as this is a music centred phone it has sensibly been given a memory card slot, to take microSD cards to expand the 1GB internal memory.
