Samsung P520, touchscreen phone to be released in Europe.
The Samsung P520 is a stylish upgrade to the P300, and bears more than a passing resemblance to the LG Prada and Apple iPhone. It is a large touchscreen phone with great features, and unlike the old P300 it no longer looks like a calculator.
This is a compact sleek touchscreen phone with a 2.6 inch screen. It boasts a 3 megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, media player and 50MB internal memory.
This does have slightly better features than the Prada phone – better camera quality, memory and WLAN added. And it could also be a good option for those who cannot wait for or afford the iPhone.
The only real disappointment about the P520 is that it isn’t 3G capable, meaning that the internet connection will be slightly slower than it could have been.
- Size: 88 x 54 x 8.9 mm
- Weight: 102g
- Screen: TFT touchscreen, 256K colours, 240 x 320 pixels
- Memory: 50 MB internal memory, expandable by microSD card
- Camera: 3 MP, 2048x1536 pixels, video(QCIF)
- Media: MP3/ACC/ACC+ player and FM radio
- Connection: GPRS, WLAN, Wi-Fi, EDGE, Bluetooth and USB
There is no release date or price as yet for the Samsung P520, we will keep you updated.
