Sony Ericsson K770 due for release in autumn 2007.
Today Sony Ericsson have announced a new addition to the family, a 3G, 3 megapixel Cyber-shot phone, the K770 looks to be a budget version of the K800 or K810.
At just 14.5mm thick, and with an attractive ‘truffle brown’ finish, this is a stylish phone and it is made better by the fact that Sony have left off the often fiddly joystick and added a flat directional pad. However the flat directional pad may account for the slightly smaller 1.9 inch screen.
The K770 has an impressive 3.15 megapixel camera, and MP3 player but has only been given a 16 MB internal memory – so it is a good thing it comes with a 256 MB memory card included to get you started.
The camera has been given an LED flash and an autofocus lens that apparently takes pictures so crisp an clear they can be successfully printed at A4 size.
- Size: 105 x 47 x 14.5 mm
- Weight: 95 g
- Style: Standard
- Screen: TFT, 262K colours, 240 x 320 pixels, 1.9 inches
- Camera: 3.15 MP, 2048x1536 pixels, autofocus, video, LED flash
- Memory: 16 MB internal memory, with 256 MB M2 card included
- Connection: GPRS, HSCSD, 3G, Bluetooth and USB v2.0
- Media: MP3/AAC/MPEG4 player and FM radio with RDS
The Sony Ericsson K770 is a great looking phone with decent features, and should prove to be popular when it is released later this year.
