Internet plans for people on the move.
T-Mobile’s popular web’n’walk internet add-on is also available as a wireless connection for laptops. This is ideal for people who travel regularly but still need access to the internet.
There are four packages to choose from:
- Web’n’walk Plus 12 month - £29.99
- Web’n’walk Plus 18 month - £29.99
- Web’n’walk Max 12 month - £44.00
- Web’n’walk Max 18 month - £44.00
Oddly both the Plus and the Max packages state that they have unlimited monthly data allowances, which leads customers to wonder what the difference is between the two. However, both packages actually have different fair usage data policies. The Web’n’walk Plus has a fair usage policy of 3GB per month, and the Max has a fair usage of 10GB.
Once you have decided which data allowance is going to suit you, there is then the choice of which connection you need. T-Mobile offer a USB modem which is suitable for both Mac and Windows, or a Data Card which won’t work with Mac or Windows Vista – both connections offer 1.8Mbps. The cost of the 2 connections vary from £39.99 to free depending on which plan you choose.
Web’n’walk for your laptop is a great way to stay connected to the internet for those who need something more substantial than the Mobile Internet, or maybe for those who don't want to fork out for a landline just so that they can have broadband at home.
