3 set to push ‘Turbo’ broadband with speeds up to 2.8 Mbps

Five HSDPA phones, USB Modem and new data price plans.
3 will be releasing their mobile broadband in September allowing customers to have fast wireless broadband on their laptop, either using their phone as a modem or with a separate USB dongle. 3 will be promoting the offer on the following 5 HSDPA phones:
- Sony Ericsson W910i
- Nokia 6500
- LG U990
- Nokia 6120
- Nokia N95
3 have got three different packages available, starting at £10 per month for 1GB, £15 for 3GB or £25 for 7GB, with any usage over these amounts billed at 10 pence per MB.
Existing customers can get hold of the USB modem for free, new customers will be charged £79 on a 12 month contract or £29 on an 18 month contract.
Expect 3 to begin showing these deals from the beginning of September.
