What do I need to do before I buy?

Firstly make sure the handset you are currently using is unlocked so that it can be used with any network. Choose the correct SIM only deal for you and when it arrives insert the SIM card into your existing phone.

All SIM only deals are subject to a 1 month contract and can be cancelled anytime after this by giving 30 days notice. You can even keep your existing phone number, just call up and request your PAC (Porting Authorisation Code) from your existing network. When your o2 SIM card arrives give the o2 customer service team a call, provide them with your PAC and they will transfer your number over for you.

Alternatively if you do not want to sign up to a monthly contract SIM -only deal then why not order a free pre-pay SIM card from o2 and get free calls or texts every time you top up.
