Motorola have got two new phones waiting in the wing, a touch sensitive music phone and the upgrade to the Z8 slide phone.

The Motorola ROKR E8 is a slim candy bar style phone with a touch sensitive front panel, and a unique ‘Omega Wheel’ – details of which are scarce unfortunately. The E8 has a music player, FM radio, 3.5mm audio jack, a 2GB internal memory and expandable memory that will take a microSD card up to 4GB.

The second offering from Motorola is the 3G RIZR Z10, an ergonomically shaped slider like the Z8. The Z10 builds on the previous model by adding a 3.15 megapixel camera, scratch resistant screen, 3.5mm audio jack and a video resolution of QVGA with 30fps.

The ROKR E8 is due out in October, and the RIZR Z10 was rumoured to be due in December, but did temporarily pop up on the o2 website with a release date of October – so watch this space!
