Top up and earn international minutes

O2 have announced a new tariff for pay as you go customers designed to give you a cheaper option to call international numbers. The tariff called Your Country has three different levels of free minutes based on how much you top up:

All other call charges are the same as the standard o2 Talkalot tariff, and by signing up to the Your Country tariff you opt out of any other o2 pay as you go tariffs ? so if you are on Talkalot More or the Favourite Place tariffs you will lose the rewards on those, as the international minutes replace them.

A new Your Country sim can be bought for £4.99, or existing customers can opt in by texting 21300, provided you do not have an online sim ? which would not be eligible for Your Country.

This is obviously a much cheaper option than previous o2 pay as you go rates, and if you are already on this o2 tariff and call abroad occasionally this will be a great saving to you.
