Use the internet on the move without signing a contract
Wednesday, January 02, 2008
Customers not wishing to sign up for a contract can now still have access to broadband on the go through 3’s new dongle offer. 3 are introducing a PAYG dongle which can be topped up exactly the same as a mobile phone is.
You will need to buy a dongle from 3 for £99.99, after that your usage can be controlled by topping up via the usual methods. Your credit is then converted into add-ons offering three download limits:
If you go over the allowance you will be charged at £1 per MB, as long as you have credit on your account. So now you will be able to surf away without worrying about a high bill at the end of the month.
Your USB dongle no longer has to be plain and boring, for the ultra-fashion conscious you can now get 3’s dongle in white, black and even pink. However, if that still doesn’t float your boat you can also get stickers to cover your plain dongle with designs from leopard print to the union flag – so you can now co-ordinate your gadgets to your outfits!
