Low-end rather than gadget filled phones for the start of 2008

Sony Ericsson have announced four new phones for the more basic user the T270, T280, R300 and R306.

The Sony Ericsson T270 has a similar styling to the old T610 and the newer T650 with a two-tone finish. The T270 has an MP3 player, FM radio, Bluetooth and a 10 MB memory (no memory card slot) it is strangely missing a camera. The T280 however, does incorporate all the same features as its younger sibling but has the advantage of a 1.3 megapixel camera.

The Sony Ericsson R300 Radio is as it’s name suggests a radio centred phone, with both AM, FM and RDS. It also houses a VGA camera, Bluetooth, an MP3 player and 8MB of memory.

Finally the R306 is the only flip phone in the line up, and again is a Radio phone like the R300 but has the advantage of a 1.3 megapixel camera.

While all four are quite good looking phones they are all quite basic and don’t really have that wow factor, here at OneCompare.com we are looking forward to some new flashy phones from Sony Ericsson in the near future.
