o2 finally gives iPhone owners a better deal
o2 have announced that they are changing the three iPhone tariffs to give better value for money. The three tariffs will change on the 1st February for all new customers and existing customers will benefit between 7th February and mid-march, when they will be automatically migrated over to the new tariffs.
The new tariffs are as follows:
| Line Rental | Inclusive minutes | Inclusive messages |
|---|---|---|
| £35 p/m | 600 | 500 |
| £45 p/m | 1200 | 500 |
| £75 p/m | 3000 | 500 |
All tariffs still include visual voicemail, unlimited data and Wi-Fi and are still only available on 18 month tariffs.
These tariffs are much better than the previous ones, with customers on the £35 tariff getting more than double their previous allowance for the same monthly cost.
Customers on the current £45 tariff will be moved to the new £45 tariff which gives them double the amount of minutes per month, again for the same cost.
When the old £55 tariff becomes obsolete customers will be moved to the new £45 tariff, which has the same amount of minutes and messages for £10 less per month.
And anyone with an excessive talking habit will need to contact o2 to get the new £75 tariff, with it’s hefty 3,000 minutes.
Existing customers will receive a text from o2 once their tariff has been changed.
