Earlier this month Carphone Warehouse and 3 teamed up to offer customers broadband on the go with a free laptop. Now PC World have a very similar offer, with a little advantage.

PC World are offering broadband via 3’s USB modem which comes for free on an 18 month contract. The contract costs £35 per month, and can get speeds up to 2.8Mbps with a 3GB download limit. Extra usage will be charged at 10 pence per MB over the 3GB, and customers can send 200 free text messages through their PC each month.

While Carphone Warehouse are offering a Dell 1520 laptop with 80GB hard drive for free or 120GB hard drive for £49.99, PC World are offering £350 off any one of eight laptops in their range – meaning the more technical minded customer can get a laptop to suit their needs.

The laptops range from a more basic Advent 9912 completely free to a high specification Sony VGN-AR51J for £499.99.

The deal is available right now, and customers need to sign up in store with relevant proofs of identification and can walk away with a free or discounted laptop to go along with their 3 mobile broadband.
