Order a personalised photo mug direct from your mobile
Tuesday, May 20, 2008
Nokia have launched a new service that allows mobile users to order prints and photo gifts direct from N Series mobiles. The Nokia XpressPhoto service has been set up with CeWe Color, Europe’s biggest photo company.
With the popularity of the digital camera and mobile camera phone sadly print photos are often forgotten about, as we carry our treasured photos with us digitally. Nokia and CeWe Color have come up with a simple and convenient way to print photos – so the photo album and photo frame could see a revival.
Nokia XpressPhoto can be downloaded onto certain N Series mobiles, once the application is enabled you can then send photos directly to the service via the press of a button. And if you don’t fancy paying the data charges for sending your photo, you can also send the photos via your PC.
The photos will then be printed out or put onto your gift – such as a mug or t-shirt and posted to you within 2 days, (although gifts can take a little longer). Prices start at 8 pence for a photo print and £6.75 for a photo mug.
