After a month off samsung
James King newly- installed marketing director at Samsung has had to part company after just one month in the role.
King decided this was for the best and left the Korean manufacturer due to his fathers health.
Working on the launch of the new U800 and the Omnia following his big move from Motorola last month.
He heralded as a major asset at Samsung along with new general manager, Derek Williamson, who joined around the same time. Samsung has also seen Matthew Brum join from Sony Ericsson two weeks ago following his appointment as Samsung’s new head of product management.
Samsung UK boss Mark Mitchinson said that the company was sorry to see King leave, but will now start the recruitment process afresh.
King couldn’t be reached as Mobile went to press.
