HTC forget the usual Touch Screen
The HTC S740 is latest smartphone announced by mobile manufacturer HTC in August. The device has a sliding QWERTY keyboard, and unlike most of HTC's recent models it is lacking a touchscreen. It does take a lot of it’s styling from the HTC Touch Diamond though.
The HTC S740 was released on the 1st of September and has made unexpected sales, it is proving to be a very popular mobile – as it combines style and features.
It has a standard mobile phone keyboard on the front, along with a nice 2.4 inch screen, but combines this with a slide out full QWERTY keyboard for the emailers and business people out there. There is also a rather nice 3.2 megapixel camera and GPS on board. It also features mobile broadband capabilities with a maximum download speed of 7.2Mbps.
It is quite a sleek phone, and with the mentioned features it should prove to be popular for a while.
