Nokia offer users basic handsets for a simpler mobile life.

Nokia have announced that they are launching their new basic handsets in quarter 2 of this year - Nokia 2610 loosely based on the Nokia 2600, Nokia 2310 relatively similar to the Nokia 1600 and the Nokia 1112 which is very similar to the Nokia 1110.

The basic handsets don’t come with many special features such as cameras or Bluetooth but they do have long battery lifes, so they shouldn’t need too much recharging.

The Nokia 2610 also has a bigger screen and larger fonts to aid usability with the Nokia 2310 having 4-6 hours talktime and 13-16 days standby time and an FM radio.

Nokia have a selection of comparitively basic handsets already released that are available with 12 months free line rental covering the entire contract. These handsets are the Nokia 3120, Nokia 2600, Nokia 1600. With these mobile phones available on free line rental deals for the entire contract, we expect the new mobile phones when they are launched to be promoted with similar excellent deals.
