Samsung launch their credit card sized mobile phone.

Samsung are launching their new stylish mobile phone handset which can be compared to the size of your credit card. The Samsung SGH-P300 credit card mobile phone measures only 88mm x 54mm x 9mm in size and weighs only 83g.

The Samsung P300 comes with a leather case that includes its own battery, this boosts the mobile phones battery life by approximately 50%. The case comes in handy for everyday use to prevent scratches and general wear and tear, but it can be quickly unclipped to give you the smaller package if needed.

The display offers 220 x 176 pixel resolution and can show up to 256k colours. The P300 also comes with a 64 voice polyphonic sound generator.

The Samsung P300 is equipped with a 1.3 mega pixel camera (with flash and fixed focus) with a dedicated camera shutter button, and an MP3 player which also has its own dedicated player key. The MP3 player offers repeat and shuffle options, it also has a minimizing mode which allows you to make use of the mobile phone while your music is playing. The Samsung P300 comes with 82MB of free storage which will come in handy as it is also capable of shooting reasonably high resolution video clips with the option of recording at 352 x 288, 320 x 240, or 176 x 144 resolution.
