Motorola will soon be launching the exclusive bright red SLVR mobile phone handset.
Wednesday, May 03, 2006
Motorola are in discussions with Carphone Warehouse about an exclusive deal on the Motorola SLVR handset in a bright red finish. The exclusive bright red mobile phone will be in collaboration with the anti-AIDS campaign RED.
A percentage of the profits will be going towards combating the disease in Africa. The profits will be handed to the Global fund an organization backed by the UN which work against AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria.
Motorola will be the latest brand to join RED’s campaign line-up of products; other collaborations include American Express, Converse, Emporio Armarni, and GAP.
The red Motorola SLVR would be available from the Carphone Warehouse in the next few months. The discussions follow Carphone Warehouse’s earlier exclusives on the Motorola L6 and the Motorola RAZR V3. Both mobile phones proved very successful.
Motorola have already released a Motorola L6 Pink to complement their silver Motorola L6 and the Motorola SLVR L7 comes in black so this addition to Motorola's slim "bar" style mobile phones should be a popular addition to the range.
