May Day sees release of new Pay as you Go tariffs from T Mobile
T-Mobile will be launching some new pay as you go mobile phone tariffs on May Day. The new tariffs are aimed at 3 different types of mobile phone user and are called Everyone, Mates Rates and Text Appeal.
The Everyone tariff is designed for everyone to call everyone, and is ideal for people who call and text any UK network and local and national numbers. Calls are one flat rate of 12p anytime, and texts are 10p each to all UK networks.
The Mates Rates mobile phone tariff is very similar to the Mates Rates tariffs already available. It is ideal for people to call other people on T-Mobile. Calls to other T-Mobile customers cost 5p per minute and texts to T Mobile customers cost 5p each. Local and National calls are charged at 20p per minute and other mobile network calls cost 40p per minute.
Text Appeal is designed for people who like to text, with a flat rate text charge of 3p per text message to all networks. Calls are charged at 20p per minute to local and national and T-Mobile phone numbers and 40p per minute to other uk networks.
The new mobile phone tariffs will be competing against current pay as you go tariffs already available such as Vodafones smartstep plans, O2 talkalot plans, Easy and Fresh plans to name a few. If you are a high user a pay monthly contract would likely work out cheaper, with T-Mobile's own Flext mobile phone tariff being one of the best deals available currently for high users.
If you find that you are on Pay as you Go and are often topping up with £15-£20 or more per month, then you may find you would be better suited with a pay monthly contract, which can be bought with some fantastic cashback deals. Click here to view our best mobile phone deals section where you can see a wide range of mobile phones which are free for the entire length of the contract!
