Sony Ericsson have tried to make the Elm as green as possible with a green calculator, and Walk Mate eco application.

Feature–wise the Elm and itÆs slider sibling, the Hazel, are similar both with a 5 megapixel autofocus camera, web browser with Wi–Fi and HSDPA, GPS, media player, FM radio and Bluetooth. Social networking sites are integrated for quick access to all the latest gossip and there are some extra multimedia features including TrackID and MegaBass. There is also Intelligent Volume Adaption and Noise Shield for enhanced call quality.
