Samsung Galaxy Watch3: Tips and tricks

The Samsung Galaxy Watch3 was unveiled recently and with it comes an array of new features. The Galaxy watches have always been popular due to their traditional appearance but impressive smartwatch features. If you are wondering how to improve your Galaxy Watch3 even further, here are a few tips to help you get the most out of your device.

The SpO2 widget

One of the newest features is the ability to read your blood oxygen levels. However, if you can’t see this, don’t worry, there is a solution. Activate the Wearable app on your phone and head over to the widget area. As you scroll down, you will notice an option for SpO2. Just move it over to the Active widgets and you’ll now be able to access it from your watch.

Mute calls with gestures

Wouldn’t it be easier if you could just mute calls with a simple gesture? Well, now you can with the Galaxy Watch3. Just go into the experimental Labs section in the Wearable app to active this. These features might not always work as intended, which is why they’re in the experimental section, but they are rather fun to play around with.

Explore the new Running Coach

There are several new fitness-related features on the Galaxy Watch3 and Running Coach is one of them. As its name suggests, this feature helps you achieve your fitness goals. To use Running Coach, go to the Exercise widget, choose More and tap on the cog next to Running Coach. You’ll be able to select Endurance Running, Calorie Burning, Speed Increasing Coach and much more.

Automatic watch face

Galaxy watches are known for their watch faces and the Galaxy Watch3 is no exception. Most of the watch faces are AMOLED-friendly, which helps save battery life. However, we think the new animated weather face is a good one to try. This feature changes the watch face depending on the weather in your location and you can also customise your background to show your heartbeat or steps.
