Tip: Adjust the sliders to find your perfect plan!
From the technical point of view, the Oppo Find X is just another flagship with familiar hardware like the Snapdragon 845, 8GB of RAM and generous 128GB of storage space. But far from it! For the price, you get not only high-end hardware but also one of the first smartphones that has not housed the front camera in the immediate front. Sounds weird, but the front camera is pushed automatically in a kind of slider, mechanically upwards so the display has no notch and the camera is protected at the same time. Impressive!
The large and impressive 6.42 inch device with AMOLED display and 2340 × 1080 pixel resolution in 19.5: 9 format measures just 74.2 x 156.7 x 9.4mm and is barely larger than the conventional 6 inch devices with 18 : 9 displays. As with the Xiaomi Mi Mix, there is an immediate, narrow border to the display. A notch is fortunately omitted. The used Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protects it from scratches.
Oppo brings the competition from Apple, Samsung & Co. with the new Find X neatly into a sweat. What, you do not know Oppo? The Chinese brand that you have never heard of, are now number four behind Samsung, Huawei and Apple.Yes, you read that right. Bigger than LG, or Google.
Oppo has long been a cult in their home country, unknown in the UK - after all, no smartphone has officially been released in this country before now. Oppo wants to change that with his Find X.
Will the Chinese succeed in attacking top dogs like Apple and Samsung with the Oppo Find X?
Long-drawn displays in 18: 9 format are now standard and represented in every smartphone price range. But the front camera and associated sensors have not disappeared completely yet.
Samsung uses a small frame for devices such as the Samsung Galaxy S9, while Apple, Huawei & Co. solve the "stowing" problem with the so-called Notch, ie a small cutout at the top. Vivo with the Vivo NEX Ultimate and now Oppo are going refreshingly new ways. The selfie lens on the Find X is not recognizable at first glance, but the huge 6.42-inch screen in 19.5: 9 format. So the Find X comes to a fabulous 93 percent display area. The remaining seven percent are left for the touch of frame. Mega! The OLED panel delivers excellent colors and contrasts, the brightness is amazingly high.
The sharpness fits despite full HD + resolution (2340x1080 pixels). On the back of the glass neither a fingerprint sensor nor one or even two cameras can be seen. Has Oppo forgotten the lenses? No! When opening the camera app, the selfie snap and the rear dual camera automatically close.
This is reminiscent of earlier slider phones (reissued by, for example, the Nokia 8110 4G) - and Star Trek. The mechanism works reliably and in less than half a second, even with the amazingly precise face unlocking with 15,000 infrared points. The test showed no exposure or wear.

OneCompare completely gets it, it's not easy trying to understand the differences of each mobile network
operator. Is o2 any better than Vodafone for this smartphone, when it comes to coverage? Or worse? It's a
real minefield. Another example, which is better? A Oppo Find X ee
contract or a Oppo Find X Tesco Mobile contract?
The reality is, it can make a huge difference to your satifaction with the overall product. Who wants to have
cruddy download speeds? But never fear - OneCompare is here. Don't forget to check our latest Blog posts
Before you decide to buy a contract or handset, it's important to know if you'll get a signal. Who wants to
be walking around into mobile network's blackholes?! After all, ordering your brand
new Oppo Find X contract only to find you can't use your data (never
mind going over the allowance!) in your own house will be pretty not cool.
A simple website a number of our visitors have used is Open Signal which maps signal
across all major mobile networks across the UK.
According to Which?, In their latest research, covering June to August 2017, they focused on 4G performance
and found that EE offered the fastest average 4G download speeds of the four networks (EE, O2, Three and
Vodafone). While EE customers enjoyed average 4G download speeds of 29Mbps, those using the O2 network had
to put up with an average speed of just 15.1Mbps.
EE's network was also at the top of the list when it came to the availability of its 4G signal, with
customers able to access it 78.5% of the time. Customers with Three had the poorest access to a 4G signal -
they were able to access it just 57.1% of the time - that's only just more than half the time, 24/7!

Out of our 880 Oppo Find X deals, our
cheapest Oppo Find X deal over the entire life of the contract is
£408.00, this includes any upfront handset cost and cashback redemption.
We have seen a number of scenarios where our cheapest contract is actually cheaper than buying the phone SIM
free without any contract, this loophole can be a great way to save on your new phone and is largely
possible as the Mobile Networks subsidise the handset cost to gain you as a new customer.
A relatively simple SIM Only comparison calculation is to add up how much
a Oppo Find X SIM free phone would cost, this is where you buy the phone
without a contract and pay for the full cost of the handset upfront. The benefit here is flexibility: you're
able to then compare the SIM Only contract market where Mobile Networks often give you far better usage
allowances and shorter contract terms. Once you've found a SIM Only contract that meets your needs, note the
monthly cost over the course of 24 months and add this to your SIM
Free Oppo Find X handset cost. You're now in a great position to compare
this cost to a regular Oppo Find X Contract.
Pro Tip: A great way to save a few extra pounds when comparing SIM Only contract is to consider purchasing a
pre owned Oppo Find X phone from the likes of Music Magpie who provide
warranties and flexible handset payment terms.
