About Sony Xperia 10 - Review, Specs + more The Xperia 10 from Sony stands out from the crowd with a 21: 9 screen: this display format offers you several key advantages when watching movies or while working with apps. But other than that, what makes the Xperia 10 different or worth buying? Let's find out... What you you need to know Mid-range smartphone for a fair price Interesting and different display format; great for movie fans Solid housing, great quality and strength The Sony Xperia 10 stands out with a particularly unique feature from among the current smartphone quagmire: its 6-inch display has an aspect ratio of 21: 9 - usual formats are 18: 9 and 19: 9. If you travel a lot, you can watch movies and videos comfortably on the go. This works with true Full HD+ sharpness too. Another advantage of that wonderous display is that you can simultaneously view 2 apps without information loss. In addition, the phone's case with generous but not overly awkward dimensions of 68 × 156 × 8.4 mm feels pleasant in the hand - quite a rarity these days. A mid-range phone with some minor drawbacks With 2870 mAh, the battery capacity is only in the mid-ranges, which translates to a rather reduced life and you'd have hoped SONY could have upped the stakes here a little bit more. That said, the '10' scores points with a quick charge function , and in addition, it is equipped with a 13 and 5 megapixel cameras respectively. What's most interesting here is that you can also record 4K photos and videos in 21: 9 format - like the larger Sony Xperia 10 Plus. Be aware there's no IP rating here though - both models are not waterproof. For additional storage space, you'll need a microSD card that extends the 64 GB memory by up to a maximum 512 GB - we'd strongly recommend it, because nowadays 64GB isn't; really that isn't much. The first impressions on the Xperia 10 from other reviews are fairly positive, but the battery life and a non-waterproof case dim the picture a bit. We'll update this review when we get a handset to test out ourselves. You may also want to consider the Xperia 1, or the Xperia XZ2 range which generally are more feature-rich but with a higher price point.
